'Goodbye To Romance'는 1980년 9월 20일에 발매된 오지 오스본 (Ozzy Osbourne) 솔로 1집 앨범 [Blizzard of Ozz] 수록곡이다.

 

락/메탈의 전설적인 밴드 블랙 새버스 (Black Sabbath)의 보컬로 활동하다가 1979년 해고된 후, 천재 기타리스트인 랜디 로즈 (Randy Rhoads)와 베이시스트  Bob Daisley,  유라이어 힙에서 활동하던 드러머 Lee Kerslake, 레인보우등 유명 밴드와 세션맨으로 활동을 한 명 키보디스트 Don Airey를 영입하여 발표한 오지 오스본 1집 앨범 [Blizzard of Ozz]는 헤비메탈 명반이자 수록곡 모두가 랜디 로즈의 감성적이며 폭발적인 기타 연주가 돋보이는 락/메탈 명곡들로 이루어져 있다.

 

앨범은 영국 앨범 차트 7위까지 올랐고, 미국 빌보드 앨범 차트 21위를 기록하였다. 앨범 출시 후 미국에서만 2019년까지 5백만 장 이상이 팔리면서  음악적, 상업적으로 성공한 앨범이다.

 

'Goodbye To Romance'는 랜디 로즈의 감성적인 기타 솔로가 돋보이는 락 발라드 명곡으로 꾸준한 사랑을 받고 있는 곡이다.

 

아래 라이브 영상에서의 기타리스트는 나이트 랜저 (Night Ranger)출신의 명기타리스트 브래드 길리스 (Brad Gillis)로 오지 오스본 투어중 비행기 사고로 사망한 랜디 로즈 대신 투어에 투입이 되었다.
